Privacy policy
The Post-Sales Alliance is a practitioner community run by Jamie McDermott and Kristine Kukich. We are responsible for the personal information described here. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version
- We only collect what you type into a form on this site.
- We do not use cookies to track you, and we do not use advertising or tracking tools.
- We never sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@theuserflow.co.
What we collect and why
Newsletter and waitlist sign-ups. Your email address, and your name, company and role if you give them. We use them to send the newsletter or community updates you asked for. When you tick a newsletter box we also record the wording you agreed to and when, so we can show you opted in.
Resource downloads. Your email address and role, and which resource you downloaded, so we can send the file and understand which resources are useful. You only join the newsletter if you tick the box.
The Handoff Health Check. Your email address, company if given, your answers and your scores, so we can show and send your results. We may look at answers across everyone who takes it to understand common handoff problems. Anything we publish from that is combined and never identifies you or your company.
Messages. Your name, email address, company if given, and your message, so we can reply.
Page views. The site counts how many times each page is viewed each day. It records only the page and the date: no IP address, no device details and nothing that identifies you. Team members signed in to the site are not counted.
We rely on your consent for the newsletter, and on our legitimate interest in running the community and answering you for everything else.
Cookies and your browser
We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. The site keeps a few small notes in your own browser so it works better: that you closed the newsletter bar, that you already unlocked a resource, and which pages you have viewed in this visit so each is counted once. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Services we use
- Hosting and database: the site and the information above are stored with our hosting provider, Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase).
- Fonts: pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
- Videos: episodes play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may store information in your browser once you press play, under Google's privacy policy.
- Email: if we move the newsletter to an email service, we will name it here before we send your details to it.
Some of these services are based outside the UK and EU. Where that is the case, they use the standard protections the law requires for sending information abroad.
How long we keep it
Newsletter details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Other form entries are kept while they are useful for running the community, and we delete ones that are clearly fake or no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Email hello@theuserflow.co and we will reply within a month.
If you live in the UK or the EU and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This site is for working professionals and is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
